Dabeli, or Kutchi dabeli, is a very popular and appetising street snack. it is originated from Gujrat’ kutch, so it also called kutch Dabeli. Dabeli is popular in Mumbai street also. A simple and uncomplicated recipe, this one can, in fact, be wrapped up in two simple steps.

Ingredients for kutch dabeli:-
- 3 boiled and mashed potatoes,
- 1 finely chopped onion,
- 2 tsps garam masala,
- 1 tsp cumin powder,
- 2 tbsps tamarind chutney,
- ½ cup pomegranate seeds,
- chopped coriander leaves,
- 2-3 red chillies soaked in warm water,
- 4-5 chopped garlic cloves,
- 2 tbsps lemon juice,
- 4 pav,
- salt and
- chaat masala to taste.
How to make Dabeli:-
Step1- Make a red garlic chutney by blending the soaked red chilies, garlic, lemon juice and salt to a smooth paste.
Step2-make the delicious potato filling for the dabeli by mixing the mashed potatoes with a fried masala made by sauteing the onions and cumin powder in oil. Once you’ve mixed these two ingredients for the filling.
Step3- add tamarind chutney, garam masala and salt. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and pomegranate seeds on top and stuff this filling into a pav.
Step4-In a skillet, pour one tsp oil and lightly toast the pav before serving with a generous amount of the red garlic chutney inside and out.
